Installing a complete Cree Linear system
Lighting System Overview
The Cree Linear Fixtures installation involves preparing the attic, running power, and wiring fixtures to Lutron Pico switches in three zones, controlled by the RadioRA 2 Select system for dimming and motion sensing.
Clear end plates are used to join 4-foot and 8-foot Cree Linear Fixtures, allowing light to carry through, while the fixtures are suspended from the ceiling using hangers and cables.
Control and Functionality
The RadioRA 2 Select system enables wireless control of the Cree Linear Fixtures via a smartphone app, with each Lutron Pico switch controlling a specific lighting zone in the garage.
A five-gang Lutron Claro trim plate is used to mount the dimmers and Pico switches in the garage, providing centralized control for the three lighting zones.
Installation Details
The Cree Linear Fixtures are installed in 4-foot and 8-foot lengths, offering flexibility in layout and coverage for the garage space.
The complete system transformation includes attic preparation, power installation, fixture wiring, and switch mounting, resulting in a fully integrated and controllable garage lighting solution.
