The Design Process - What can I expect
Once your service invoice is paid and floor plans are received, here's what happens next:
Step 1: Preliminary Design
Your designer will create a rough layout of your space based on the notes from your intro call. This is the first look at how your garage can come together.
Step 2: Design Review Call
You’ll receive a link to schedule a video call with your designer. During this call, you’ll review the design together, ask questions, and request any changes in real time.
Step 3: Design Proposal
After your feedback is applied and the design is finalized, the designer will prepare a full design proposal. This includes renderings, layout details, and a general scope of the project — similar to the sample design linked earlier.
Step 4: Technical Drawings or Revisions
Once you review the proposal:
If everything looks good, we’ll move forward with detailed technical drawings.
If you have more feedback, we may schedule another call to go over changes before moving to the next step.
Step 5: Product Quotes & Planning
With technicals complete, we’ll:
Create product quotes based on your final design
Discuss production lead times
Build a purchasing plan that fits your project timeline
